The
behavior of intellectual mob lynching, is very typical of Buhari supporters who
brook no criticism of president Buhari. They criticize Jonathan blindly but
they take issue over legitimate criticisms of a man who was once president but
began his current presidency very amateurishly and ethnic parochialism.
Whenever
and wherever Buhari deserves to be criticized, he will be criticized, just as
it was done with Jonathan, Yara'Adua, and Obasanjo before him. That's what
constitutes statesmanship, something they confuse with political partisanship.
I hope that they are aware that Rev. Kukah was a die-hard supporter of Buhari's, especially when it was dangerous to support Buhari, yet he finds a need to criticize the man's current leadership. What does that tell you about him? I spell it out: it makes him a statesman.

Buhari’s
supporters ought to reevaluate their deification of president Buhari, for it
neither portends positivism for his legacy nor does any good for our country.
