The Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, Friday said he had no hands in the ongoing judicial scandal against Minister of Transportation, Mr. Chibuike Amaechi. The Governor was reacting to statement credited to the Rivers state APC chairman, Davies Ikanya in which he alleged that, Governor Okowa, Wike and others are behind the allegation by Justice Sylvester Ngwuta and Justice Inyang Okoro, two justices of the Supreme Court, who accused Amaechi of prompting them to avert justice to favour the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidates especially in Rivers and Akwa Ibom States. Okowa described the Rivers APC's allegation as false, misleading and a calculated attempt to smear his hard-earned reputation, noting that Davies Ikanya should concern himself with the dwindling fortunes of his party in Rivers rather than embarking on a wild goose chase.
