Governor Uduaghan urges Nigerians to keep praying for the safe release of Chibok girls

The Delta State Government has organized a prayer session for the safe release of the abducted Chibok Girls who have been in captivity for 100 days as at today 22nd July, 2014.
Speaking at the prayer session held at the Government House Annex Warri, the Governor of Delta State, Dr Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, CON,  urged Nigerians to keep praying for President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and the country. He noted that it is not easy to rule a State like Delta with the attendant security challenges how much more a large country like Nigeria.
The Governor used the occasion to ask Deltans and Nigerians not to relent in offering prayers for the kidnapped Chibok girls and also to always seek God's help in the war against terror in Nigeria.
Dr Uduaghan recalled how his father had always urged him to take Psalm 23 very seriously and till today it has been his favorite verse.
The prayer session was attended by Deputy Governor, Prof. Amos Agbe Utuama, SAN, Senator Emmanuel Aguariavwodo, top government functionaries, traditional rulers and other members of the public.
