DELTA 2015: TONY CHUCKS OBUH AND THE POWER OF HIS AURA

Emotional, mental, and spiritual levels form an energy field around the body known as the aura but in para-psychology and many forms of spiritual practice, an aura is a field of subtle, luminous radiation surrounding a person or object (like the halo or aureola in religious art). The depiction of such an aura often connotes a person of particular power or holiness.

The purpose of trying to define the term aura was to explain to my reading public who may not have come across such word or those who know it but have no proper understanding. There are some who actually believe that the Bible supports a belief in auras and point to Exodus 34 and Matthew 17 as scriptural proof. However, even the most cursory read-through of these passages makes it clear that what was witnessed was the glory of God.

In the Exodus passage, Moses had just come down the mountain after spending 40 days and nights with God, and the glory of God was still reflected in his face. The Matthew passage is the account of Jesus' transfiguration. Both passages are specific to divine encounters and have nothing to do with a personal energy field.

Jewish tradition reveals the tremendous power that each human being has to affect the world through the unique gift of freewill. There is a quote that says "Never underestimate the power of destiny. Because when you least expect it, the littlest thing can cause a ripple effect that changes your life.

The power of Tony Chucks Obuh’s destiny and aura is what drives him to high places of life. That is why even people within strived hard to frustrate him by condemning him and engaged in anti-activities yet the supreme energy behind him is so forceful that no mortal can convene an obstruction against his aspiration and person because it is divinely motivated.

Romans 8:29-30 tells us, “For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.” Ephesians 1:5 and 11 declare, “He predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will…In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will.

Many people have a strong hostility to the doctrine of predestination. However, predestination is a biblical doctrine. It is key to understand what predestination means, biblically. The words translated “predestined” in the Scriptures referenced above are from the Greek word proorizo, which carries the meaning of “determine beforehand,” “ordain,” “to decide upon ahead of time.” So, predestination is God determining certain things to occur ahead of time.

What did God determine ahead of time? According to Romans 8:29-30, God predetermined that certain individuals would be conformed to the likeness of His Son, be called, justified, and glorified. Essentially, God predetermines that certain individuals will be saved. Numerous scriptures refer to believers in Christ being chosen (Matthew 24:22, 31; Mark 13:20, 27; Romans 8:33, 9:11, 11:5-7, 28; Ephesians 1:11; Colossians 3:12; 1 Thessalonians 1:4; 1 Timothy 5:21; 2 Timothy 2:10; Titus 1:1; 1 Peter 1:1-2, 2:9; 2 Peter 1:10).

Predestination is the biblical doctrine that God in His sovereignty chooses certain individuals to be king , Tony Obuh being chosen to be Delta State Governor in 2015 is a mission that has been ordained by God himself. When God makes, there is a purpose for enthronement. Many may not see this except God.

To every man there is a purpose why you are born into this world to fulfill. The Father’s greatest desire is for you to have a relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. Once you have received God’s forgiveness, then you are ready to fulfill the rest of His plan for your life. Your destiny will unfold as you obey the daily prompting and guiding of the Holy Spirit.

The details of where He leads each believer will vary, and He rarely gives any of us a complete picture of our destiny. Back to the power of aura, aura can also be termed as the flow of anointing in our lives, every Christian is surrounded by bright light, the brightness of ones light depends on your relation with God, the deeper you are with God, the radiation of his glory rubs on you.

This light around us reflects on the level of our wisdom, humility, acceptance and rapid promotions in life. That is why a man of 30 years can become a president and the man of 60 years cannot, because their aura and destinies differs. So, in the early part of Tony Obuh’s aspiration, some people where tagging him names that he is a stooge and a complete neophyte to the political terrain in Delta State, it was laughable to most of us who know that who God chooses he qualify. The declaration of Tony Chucks Obuh clearly buried their belief and analogies of his person.

One of the greatest strengths of Tony Obuh is his humility. Humility is the act of being modest, reverential, and even politely submissive. It is the opposite of aggression, arrogance, pride, and vanity. Humility offers its owner complete freedom from the desire to impress, be right, or get ahead. Frustrations and losses have less impact on a humble ego and a humble person confidently receives opportunity to grow, improve, and reject society‘s labels. A humble life results in contentment, patience, forgiveness, and compassion.

Humble people realize their understanding is limited and embrace it. As a result, they wisely look for answers outside of themselves. This is why Tony Obuh can use weapon of humility to win the hearts of his opposing forces; all human life carries inherent value.  A humble person appreciates the fact that the world does not revolve around him or her. And accepts their position as just a tiny piece in the giant puzzle.

Humility always begins in our heart. As a result, it offers significant control over attitude, outlook, and actions. It has nothing to prove, but everything to offer. The reflection of Tony Obuh’s humility is the shining light radiating from his aura and influencing the minds of the public through his intellectuality and exemplary deeds.

The people of Delta State have seen from the productivity of Tony Obuh in his tenure as Permanent Secretary to the Delta State government, that he has the capacity to turn their common history from being a civil service State to an industrial hub and a State that will be private sector driven.

OBOREVWORI: How Not To Glorify A 'One Chance' Governor - By Zik Gbemre

It is appalling how, in desperation to sustain its thieving hegemony over the Delta State Government since 1999, the Delta PDP had the audacity to impose the weakest, most uninformed contender, a local champion, as Governor over a state replete with accomplished men and women of immense capacity. Given this unenviable privilege, one would have expected the fortunate placeholder governor, Sheriff Oborevwori—whose only election campaign manifesto was pledging to improve on the failed leadership of Ifeanyi Okowa, his predecessor—to engage creative minds and individuals of proven integrity to assist him in making a difference. Rather than doing the needful, Oborevwori has worsened matters by electing to engage the same spent leaders, deadwood, and gluttons that have gained prominence in running the state down over successive administrations. The result has been a government of mediocre officeholders competing to run the state for their pockets at the detriment of the populace, under a gove...
