DELTA 2015: TONY CHUCKS OBUH, LEADING A VANGUARD FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A UNITED DELTA STATE

It was Marianne Williamson who asserted that as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence actually liberates others. This assertion which is a replicate in the character of Tony Chucks Obuh, has been the compelling force that enticed or attracts millions of people within and outside Delta State who have seen this light of progress and prosperity with down to earth humility and liberation in him to identify with this son of promise.

In Delta State today, one man have formed the political talking point which has become very difficult to see a group of people in the state discussing politics without mentioning this name that has fast become an household name in the state be it Women, Elderly, Youths, stakeholders and opinion leaders, politicians, even the school children.

The people of Delta State have demonstrated a rare character of discipline and vision by making sure that come 2015, governance should not be trade as compensation for political support but it should be based on competence and capacity to deliver quality service with respect to rule of law and human dignity which is epitomized in Tony Obuh. Therefore, it’s very common in Delta State today to see people switch camps, support, and loyalty to Tony Obuh who is undoubtedly seen and recognized by all as that man, capable and competent enough with the right leadership attitude, having been tested and proved to deliver to Delta people his promises.

No promise has ever been fulfilled without opposition, and Tony Obuh’s own is not different either, hence the many criticism, blackmail, character assassinations, falsehood being peddled in some opponents to spoil peoples mind and support for his success at the poll. But the beauty of all these is that the more people are slandering, blackmailing, and publishing all kinds of falsehood against him, the more he waxes stronger and garner more support and goodwill to his favour.

This has confirmed that the will of God in Tony Obuh cannot be denied or destroyed by men since it came from God, and no matter how men may gang-up against him, it will fail because God’s purpose and will cannot be frustrated by men.

Ever since he came into the political scene of Delta State, being a man destined for leadership, Tony Obuh has enjoyed unprecedented support, appreciation and goodwill from people who recognize that he is a man who has destiny for leadership with God.

Truly, Tony Obuh is the right man with the right attitude, spirit, and vision to deliver to Delta people. He has all it takes talking about intellect, vision, commitment and passion for a better and prosperous society.

OBOREVWORI: How Not To Glorify A 'One Chance' Governor - By Zik Gbemre

It is appalling how, in desperation to sustain its thieving hegemony over the Delta State Government since 1999, the Delta PDP had the audacity to impose the weakest, most uninformed contender, a local champion, as Governor over a state replete with accomplished men and women of immense capacity. Given this unenviable privilege, one would have expected the fortunate placeholder governor, Sheriff Oborevwori—whose only election campaign manifesto was pledging to improve on the failed leadership of Ifeanyi Okowa, his predecessor—to engage creative minds and individuals of proven integrity to assist him in making a difference. Rather than doing the needful, Oborevwori has worsened matters by electing to engage the same spent leaders, deadwood, and gluttons that have gained prominence in running the state down over successive administrations. The result has been a government of mediocre officeholders competing to run the state for their pockets at the detriment of the populace, under a gove...
