DELTA 2015: TONY CHUCKS OBUH RETURNS NOMINATION FORM

The leading aspirant in the 2015 Governorship race in Delta State State Tony Chucks Obuh Saturday returned his expression of interest and nomination forms to the National Secretariat of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), Wadata Plaza, Abuja. The forms were received by Abubakar Mustapha, National Organizing Secretary of the party.

Speaking after submitting the forms, Tony Obuh thanked the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr Goodluck Jonathan for the robust leadership he has provided for Nigerians and for setting the template for true democracy to thrive. He praised the leadership of the party in his State and Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan for his passion for excellence and his commitment to the development of Delta State. He showered praises on the party elders, supporters, women and youths for their massive turnout to the brief ceremony.

He said their presence was an eloquent testimony of the goodwill and grassroots support the project enjoys. The former Permanent Secretary said that the price of this overwhelming support and acceptance is responsibility and pledged to take Delta State to an enviable height.
