DELTA 2015: DELTA STATE PDP NAMES CRACK CAMPAIGN TEAM


The leadership of the Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, yesterday named a crack, all-inclusive campaign council to spear head the campaign for its numerous flag bearers in the 2015 general polls, with the State party chairman, Chief Edwin Uzor as its helmsman.

An official statement released by Chief Uzor named the 64-member team, which has the current State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Joseph Otumara, as secretary.

The council, Chief Uzor said, is to be inaugurated by 7pm on Monday, December 15, 2014, at the Banquet Hall, Governor’s Lodge, Asaba.

He named Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa, the party’s gubernatorial candidate, as a member of the council which also includes the South-South Chairman of the party and former Presidential Liaison Officer to the National Assembly, Dr. Cairo Ojougboh; Chief Emmanuel Ighomena;Evang. Solomon Ogba; Chief Sunny Odogwu; Sen. Stella Omu; Dr. (Mrs) Mariam Alli; Chief (Mrs) Judith Enamuotor; Senators James Manager and Emmanuel Aghwariavwido; Chief Ighoyota Amori; Mrs. Ifeoma Agboma; Dr. Pius Sinebe; Bro. Emmanuel Ogidi; Chief (Bar) Peter Nwaoboshi; Dr. Festus Okubor; Hon.(Prince) Sam Obi; Sir Anthony Obuh; the Rt. Hon. (Engr) Victor Ochei; Hon. Ndudi Elumelu; Prof. Sylvester Monye; Chief Peter Okocha; Dr. (Mrs) Ngozi Olejeme;Chief Godswill Obielum; Chief Johnson Opone; Chief Clement Ofuani; Chief Mike Uwaka; Mr. Charles Emetulu; Dr.(Mrs.) Esther Uduehi; Amb.
