ABUJA—The
governorship candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2015 general elections in Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi
Okowa, has promised to establish industrial estates in the three senatorial districts
of the State, in his bid to ensure industrialization of the State.
Senator Okowa, who is presently Chairman of Senate Committee on Health, in an interview with
Vanguard in Abuja, also said that if
elected governor of the State, he will commence the process of engaging people of the State in having health insurance policy.

He described his emergence in the PDP governorship primary as
an act of God, he said that God has a purpose for Delta State and as a politician
that has been consistent with the people; he will do his best to give the State
the best. He said that the industrialization of Delta State would be key to his
administration to reduce unemployment and also cushion the effect of economic
challenges the nation was facing.
