DELTA 2015: MRS OKOWA SPEAKS – MY HUSBAND'S GOVERNMENT WILL BE DELTA BEYOND TRIBE.



The wife of the Delta State PDP Governorship Candidate, Dame Edith Okowa is visiting the various Queens in different kingdoms that made up Delta North Senatorial district to solicit for their support towards the February general elections.

Dame Edith Okowa also used the visits to appreciate everyone for supporting her husband during PDP primary election and for making him the winner. She however, dedicated her husband's victory to God Almighty.

Mrs. Okowa visit is to appreciate the Queens and appeal to them to spread the gospel of prosperity for all Deltans and encourage them to continue their support in making her husband, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa the next Governor of Delta State.

During the visit Dame Edith Okowa was honoured with royal blessings from the Queens. They also assured Mrs. Okowa of their support for her husband and promised that they will pass the message to their people.

Speaking on her husband's government come May, 2015 if elected as governor, she said the government will be that of all Deltans, beyond tribe ,stating that in this government, there will be nothing like Urhobo nor Ijaw, Itsekiri, Isoko or Anioma. All that we all will know will be one United Delta State.
She also promised the Queens that the government will partner with women, because women are the bedrock of society. Behind every successful nation, there are women. Women will be incorporated and represented in all capacity.

She also used the opportunity to urge all Queens to enlighten their people to collect their permanent voters’ card, since that is their right to vote in the elections. Your power lies in the permanent voters’ card.

She called on all Deltans and Nigerians at-large to vote PDP come February 2015 general elections.

EDO GUBER ELECTION: Omo-Agege, Faith Majemite, Others Appointed Into APC National Campaign Council

Ahead of the September 21 governorship election in Edo State, the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) unveiled a 197-member council on Wednesday to lead its campaign.
