The wife of the
Delta State PDP Governorship candidate, Dame Edith Okowa today met with the officials
and members of the National Council of Women Society on a familiarization and sensitization
visit. While addressing the women group, Mrs. Okowa informed them that she was
there to preach the gospel of Jesus and that of the PDP.
She enjoined women
and indeed all Deltans to go and collect their PVC (permanent voter’s card).
Emphasizing that the PVC was every adult’s power to participate in the choice
of the best candidates come February. She called on Deltans to vote for:
President Goodluck Jonathan for President, Senator Ifeanyi Okwa for Governor
and all other PDP candidates.
