Major Polls across Delta State are
predicting landslide victory for the PDP and its governorship candidate Senator
Ifeanyi Okowa in the February 2015 gubernatorial election. The polls also show
that the PDP is leading both in House of Assembly, Federal House and Senatorial
standings.
With regards to the governorship choice, the latest opinion poll
has projected the PDP’s Senator Okowa is leading the race of those surveyed, 73
per cent want to see Senator Okowa as the next Governor as against only 15 per
cent in favour of Great Ogboru of Labour
party and 13 per cent for Otega Emerhor of APC.
The survey was conducted between 12th
and 15th January 2015 with 802,006 respondents. Opinion polling may have a
margin of error of plus or minus 2 %.
The latest survey was conducted by Daily News and
Analysis of Nigeria and survey firm Nielsen.
