The
Governor Campaign train of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP today stormed Udu
and Warri South West local government areas of the State. In the usual manner
the people trooped out in celebratory mood to welcome Senator Ifeanyi Okowa.
Otor-Udu
and Ogbe-Ijaw was a great experience, because the people showed passion, love and
support for the PDP governorship candidate.
At Udu, Prof. Sam Oyovbaire urged Deltans to cast their
votes for President Goodluck Jonathan and Senator Okowa during next month’s
general elections saying “PDP is a party to trust.” The PDP chieftain also
warned PDP supporters to eschew violence during the election urging them to,
however, protect their votes.
