ISOKO NATION WILL VOTE MASSIVELY FOR OKOWA - MACAULAY

The Secretary to the Delta State Government, Com. Ovuozourie Macaulay has assured the Delta State PDP Gubernatorial candidate Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa of massive support from Isoko Nation in the forthcoming general elections in February 28, 2015.

Com. Macaulay stated this in a brief speech at the reception organized for all Isoko PDP candidates at the country home of Rt. Hon. Leo Ogor. According to Comrade Macaulay, Isoko Nation has over 260,000 registered voters and assured Dr Okowa that Isoko nation that they will deliver a minimum of 230,000 votes to the PDP in the general elections.

Earlier in his speech, Senator Okowa expressed delight in the unity of purpose among the Isoko people and apologized for not making it to the rally due to his engagement with the State Campaigns. He assured the Isoko Nation that better things are ahead for them and thanked them for their cooperation and support thus far. "Sometimes what you wish to get is not better than what you get and sometimes what you get may be better than what what you get may be better than what you wished to get. "Senator Okowa said amidst a clapping ovation. Senator Okowa thereafter charged the Isoko Nation to turn out en-masse to vote President Goodluck Jonathan and other PDP candidates in the National Assembly come February 14.
