Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, together with other Governorship candidates
of the People’s Democratic Party for the 2015 polls have been presented with
the party’s flag by the National Chairman of the Party, Adamu Muazu in Lagos
today.
The flags were presented to the party candidates, who would
contest for the Governorship seat at the Presidential campaign flagoff rally in
Lagos.
In his remarks, Adamu Muazu recalled the achievements of the PDP
led-government in the country, dating back to Chief Obasanjo’s administration,
and urged the people to continue to support the party. He congratulated the
successful candidates, stressing that they were the best candidates of the
party for 2015 general elections.
Senator Okowa said Delta State’s resolve to support President
Goodluck Jonathan for the Presidency was for continuity of the transformation
agenda.
