One of Nigeria’s top female singers, Omawumi has tied the knot with her baby daddy, Tosin Ibrahim Yusuf. Omawumi and her heartthrob got married yesterday, January 16, 2015 at Ikoyi Registry in Lagos.

News of her engagement to her baby daddy surfaced in September, last year. She welcomed her first child, Emmanuella Kamillah Yusuf  in the U.S.A. for Tosin in June 2011. For a long time after Omawumi gave birth, many tried to figure out who the father of her baby is but she succeeded in keeping it secret. She finally let her fans meet the lucky man in her life, sometime last year. Unconfirmed report has it that she is pregnant with their second child.

Omawumi Megbele is a Law graduate from Ambrose Alli University . The Warri born singer, came into the limelight following her performance at the 2007 edition of the West African Idols, a reality show where she emerged as the runner-up.

Abuja, Nigeria — The Federal Government of Nigeria has inaugurated a 12-member Presidential Advisory Committee on the Prerogative of Mercy (PACPM), tasked with recommending individuals eligible for presidential pardons from criminal convictions. The committee, chaired by the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi, was inaugurated on Wednesday. It has a four-year tenure and includes members drawn from various ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs), as well as representatives from religious bodies and four eminent Nigerians. Among the notable appointees are Justice Augustine Utsaha, Prof. Alkasum Abba, Chief Akinlolu Olujinmi (SAN), and Prof. Nike Sidikat Ijaiya. GOVERNOR OBOREVWORI APPOINTS OSEJI AS DELTA HEAD OF SERVICE

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has approved the appointment of Dr. (Mrs.) Minimim Oseji as the new Head of Service. Her appointment follows the retirement of Mr. Reginald Bayoko, who served in the position for nearly nine years. Dr. Oseji, a medical doctor, was previously the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Environment and had also served as the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health.
