It
was standstill today in Asaba, the capital of Delta State, as Deltans from all
walks of life stormed the Cenotaph for the Presidential Campaign Rally of
President Gooduck Jonathan and Governorship Campaign train of Senator Ifeanyi Okowa
in continuation of electioneering campaigns.
The
visit of the President is in furtherance of campaigns for the re-election bid
of the President and Governorship election
bid of Senator Okowa on February 14 and 28, 2015 saw People’s Democratic
faithfuls, National, State and Local Government Executives, Elders, Leaders,
loyalists, members and supporters in attendance.
President
Jonathan further declared his manifesto to Deltans and Nigerians in general for
votes and why he remains the best choice for Nigeria, but also reeled out his
achievements as basis for his decision to seek re-election.
