ELECTION2015: JONATHAN AND SENATOR OKOWA RECEIVES HEROES WELCOME IN ASABA


It was standstill today in Asaba, the capital of Delta State, as Deltans from all walks of life stormed the Cenotaph for the Presidential Campaign Rally of President Gooduck Jonathan and Governorship Campaign train of Senator Ifeanyi Okowa in continuation of electioneering campaigns.

The visit of the President is in furtherance of campaigns for the re-election bid of the President  and Governorship election bid of Senator Okowa on February 14 and 28, 2015 saw People’s Democratic faithfuls, National, State and Local Government Executives, Elders, Leaders, loyalists, members and supporters in attendance.

President Jonathan further declared his manifesto to Deltans and Nigerians in general for votes and why he remains the best choice for Nigeria, but also reeled out his achievements as basis for his decision to seek re-election.

EDO GUBER ELECTION: Omo-Agege, Faith Majemite, Others Appointed Into APC National Campaign Council

Ahead of the September 21 governorship election in Edo State, the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) unveiled a 197-member council on Wednesday to lead its campaign. According to the list released by APC National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Argungu, Cross River State Governor Bassey Otu has been appointed as the chairman of the campaign council. THE ENDURING LEGACY OF LEADERSHIP: Chief James Ibori Celebrated for His Impact on Delta State

On Friday, May 31st, during the funeral service for the Late Asagba of Asaba, the essence of true leadership was vividly displayed. The service featured the introduction of various dignitaries, including Senator George Akume, Secretary to the Government of the Federation who represented President Bola Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor Godwin Obaseki, and Former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
