Political leaders and people of Ethiope West local government area have adopted Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, the standard bearer of the Peoples’ Democratic Party as their next governor.  This declaration was made at a Townhall meeting in Oghara. They noted that Senator Ifeanyi Okowa is the most competent and most suited candidate to pilot the affairs of the State from May 29, 2015.

The people of Ethiope west also said that Senator Okowa is a detribalized Deltan who will rule with fairness and equity. “Let me also state undoubtedly that the people of this local government are intelligent and trustworthy people and we know where we are coming from.

On 2015 having consider all the Candidates who are contesting the fort coming governorship election, we find Senator Okowa as the only credible person that has the political exposure, intellect and prudent funds management skills in taking our beloved State to the next phase of economic development and making it a private sector driven economy.

So today, we adopt Senator Ifeanyi Okowa as our next governor and sole candidate that the entire people of Ethiope West local government area will vote for come April 11, 2015, while we also advise any candidate from Delta Central Senatorial District to step down for the interest of peace, justice and equity. They should save their personality from woeful failure at the polls as no person in this local government area will vote for such self-serving ambition.” The opposition should therefore beware of Ethiope west because Ethiope west is the home of PDP. A vote of confidence was passed on president Goodluck, Senator Okowa, Chief Amori, Chief Idisi and Miss Ibori.
