DELTA 2015: WHY DELTANS WANT SENATOR IFEANYI OKOWA AS GOVERNOR

The power behind every successful leadership is the amount of knowledge stored in the capacity of the leader; this is the fountain through which prudent projections flow from. Senator Ifeanyi Okowa is a tested and trusted leader who over the years has earned himself confidence from Deltans across the three senatorial districts, Nigerians and the world at large. A leader without knowledge is a fruitless tree; it occupies the land and wastes it without yielding profit to the planter.

Plato articulated that “In politics we presume that everyone who knows how to get votes knows how to administer a city or a State. When we are ill… we do not ask for the handsomest physician, or the most eloquent one.” We ask for well-groomed professional so that we will have the best treatment. We should therefore apply this to governance not seeking after men of low knowledge and experience, we should seek for professionals and Senator Okowa is the one.

Good people do not need laws to tell them to act responsibly, while bad people will find a way around the laws. Senator Okowa is a responsible leader who will use his knowledge in public service for the good of all Deltans. He is the man that will potently make Delta State a land of gigantic strides.

People continually want “fair, just, honest, ethical” leaders, because the system is corrupt and unjust, so they need a just man with a sense of values for the growth of the society.

The ability of the populace to discern between what a leader is telling us and what is in his heart remains the challenge. So don’t go for mouthy political office seekers who come to you only during the season of elections. It is clear that our people are interested on choosing someone who would infuse more strategies that will steer the economy of Delta State to a greater height.

Senator Okowa knows the best techniques and means to empower the youths and women, including creation of jobs and attracting investments to the State. Human behaviour flows from three main sources: desire, emotion, and knowledge, Senator Okowa after deep interaction with the people is desirous in turning Delta State into an economic nerve centre in the Niger Delta, with deep emotions and a passion to see his father land become an industrial haven.
