DELTA 2015: SENATOR OKOWA WILL EMERGE THE NEXT GOVERNOR OF DELTA STATE

The Governorship candidate of the PDP, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, is predicted for victory in the upcoming April 11, 2015, Governorship polls in Delta State.

This is the general opinion of people across the State as they reacted to the victory of the opposition All Progressive Congress, APC Presidential candidate General Muhamadu Buhari, over his Peoples Democratic Party candidate and incumbent, President Goodluck Jonathan in the April 11, 2015 presidential polls.

They felt that the people of Nigeria have spoken and congratulated General Buhari, but generality of them insisted that for Delta State, which is a PDP stronghold and which gave Jonathan over 1.2million votes will retain their State and continue with good governance.

The general opinion is that Senator Ifeanyi Okowa remains the best candidate in the race with the right experience, training, exposure, competence, integrity and national network to consolidate on the gains made by the past administrations and lead the State into the era of industrial and agricultural boom.

Deltans should therefore not be misguided. The PDP and all her members, including supporters in Delta State who are in the overwhelming majority remain committed to voting massively for Senator Okowa as their governor.

On how, the State will cope as an opposition to the APC which has already taken the central government.  It is good to note that ours is federal system. Any fears are unfounded, as Lagos, Edo, Osun, Ogun, Ekiti, among many other States, which were run by opposition parties under PDP Federal Government held their own. With a man like Senator Okowa, Delta State will remain a viable, prosperous, developed State. All Deltans are urged to rally round him.

The good people of Delta State should vote right and support the cause of equity and justice by voting for Senator Ifeanyi Okowa. The interest of every part of the State will be protected and met under him as governor.
