SENATOR OKOWA URGES IKA PEOPLE TO SHOW DISCIPLINE IN THE LIFE OF HIS ADMINISTRATION

The Governor-elect of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa has advised the people of Ika nation to demonstrate high level discipline during his tenure as Governor of the State. This advice was handed down by the Governor-elect while addressing a gathering of PDP stake holders of Ika federal constituency at Hotel Keziah in Boji, Boji Owa.
The Governor-elect warned that he will not tolerate any act of indiscipline from his people. He said, "You should not say because I’m Governor and you go about misbehaving, thinking that when you get into trouble I will come and save you".
He expressed his unwillingness to assist anyone who gets into trouble as a result of his unruly behaviour. On the oneness of Ika nation, he urged the people to be more united in this era of his administration. He thanked the people for their support during the election and pledged to deliver dividends of democracy to all Deltans without sentiments and chauvinism. He however admitted overt challenges in the affairs of the State, but said he is not deterred.
