HON. REUBEN IZEZE THANKS GOD

The member representing Ughelli South Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Honourable Barrister Reuben Rume Izeze has held a victory thanksgiving at the Oginibo branch of the Christ Missionaries Crusaders Church to appreciate God for his election and subsequent swearing into office as member of the Delta State House of Assembly.

In his testimony, Hon. Izeze full of joy, praised God for finding him worthy to be used as a vessel of service to the people of Ughelli South Local Government. "I believe in the Sarduana school of thought where public office should be strictly meant for service and not for personal aggrandizement.

"My dream is to use public office to bring development to my people. I am not a business man and I do not intend to do business with public office. "We are here to thank God for the immense support the people have given us so far. Am amazed at the high level of attendance we have witnessed today. It goes to show the general acceptance of our mandate and also buttresses the fact that we have a serious challenge of caring for the people." He said.

Hon. Izeze paid glowing tributes to his former boss, the immediate past Governor of Delta State Dr Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan who gave him the platform to launch himself into public office.

Arch Bishop Goddowell Avwomakpa, South South Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria CAN and General Overseer of the Church  ministered during the thanksgiving service.
