The Delta State House of Assembly has received
the letter of nominating Chief Clement Ofuani as DG Delta State Capital
Development Agency. He is to appear before the House for screening on Thursday
6th August, 2015.
● Chairman Uvwie of Local Government Hon.
Henry Baro is suspended by the Delta State House of Assembly on allegation of fraud.
The Vice Chairman is to take over.
The House has appointed the following Members
as Adhoc Committee to investigate the allegations. The members of the adhoc
committee are:
Hon Oboroh Preye - Chairman
Hon Eric Oharisi - Member
Hon Anthony Elekeokwuri - Member
Hon Owosike Austin - Secretary
●The House also directed all Local Government Chairmen in the State to submit all
their financial records since assumption of office to the Adhoc Committee on or
before Thursday 6th August, 2015.
