A twin bomb blasts have reportedly
occurred in Kuje area on Friday, October 2. Another one recorded at Jukwoyi bus
station after the Nyanya bridge.
Although
the details are sketchy so far, it is believed the blasts could have been
masterminded by Boko Haram insurgents, Daily Post reports.
The twin
blast incident took place at Kuje market area, near the police
station. The attacked site is the one close to market, it is the place
where okada men usually eat and relax, sources say.
An eye
witness said he saw 13 bodies being evacuated to the national hospital.
Dozens of injured were being transported to the same medical institution too.
One more blast
was recorded Nyanya, the site of last year’s bombing
that claimed dozens of lives. Scores people are feared killed.
