SENATE RECEIVES MINISTERIAL LIST AS FALANA, FASHOLA, DAMBAZZAU, FAYEMI, DABIRI MAKE LIST


Senate President, Olubukola Saraki has finally received the list of ministers to work in the cabinet of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Saraki who made the disclosure on his Twitter handle, confirmed that he received the ministerial list.
The long awaited ministerial list was presented to the Senate President by the Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari and the Special Adviser to the President on Nat. Assembly (Senate), Ita Enang,at 4.59 pm on Wednesday at the senate. 
Former Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola, Former Ekiti Governor, Kayode Fayemi, Former Chief of Army Staff, General Abdulraham Dambazzau, Human Right Lawyer, Femi Falana, are among the list of Ministers sent to the National Assembly by President Mohammadu Buhari for approval, a highly placed Presidency source hinted.
A former member of the House of Representatives, Chief Bode Mustafa and Abike Dabiri also on the list according to the source who refused to disclose the names of others who made the list.

The list would be read out at the Senate Plenary session on  next week  Tuesday .

IBORI PARDON IN SIGHT? FG Inaugurates Presidential Committee On Prerogative of Mercy

Abuja, Nigeria — The Federal Government of Nigeria has inaugurated a 12-member Presidential Advisory Committee on the Prerogative of Mercy (PACPM), tasked with recommending individuals eligible for presidential pardons from criminal convictions. The committee, chaired by the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi, was inaugurated on Wednesday. It has a four-year tenure and includes members drawn from various ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs), as well as representatives from religious bodies and four eminent Nigerians. GOVERNOR OBOREVWORI APPOINTS OSEJI AS DELTA HEAD OF SERVICE

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has approved the appointment of Dr. (Mrs.) Minimim Oseji as the new Head of Service. Her appointment follows the retirement of Mr. Reginald Bayoko, who served in the position for nearly nine years. Dr. Oseji, a medical doctor, was previously the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Environment and had also served as the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health.
