As
part of commitment towards driving the prosperity agenda in the State, the Delta
State Government has disbursed N324.1 million as loan to over 200 cluster
groups made up of traders and farmers across the 25 local government areas of
the State.
The
disbursement is part of the job and wealth creation agenda of Governor Ifeanyi
Okowa. The interest free loan was disbursed through the State Micro, Small and
Medium Enterprises Development Agency, DSMSMEDA by the Executive Secretary of
the agency, Mrs Shimite Bello.
She
disclosed that the money was part of the N2 billion Central Bank of Nigeria,
CBN, MSME fund. She emphasized that this is not the end, because Governor Okowa
is passionately committed to bringing prosperity to all Deltans.
