FRED LATIMORE OGHENESIVBE: A FOOL AND HIS MACABRE DANCE

APC-Logo

What is the definition of a fool? I want to ask this question again because a lot of people in the State, who have neither legacy nor anything tangible to show for their life make us, comprehend the full meaning of the word, FOOL!

Here are two versions of an entertaining quote that are usually credited to Abraham Lincoln or Mark Twain: "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt." The other says, "It’s better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than open it and remove all doubt."  No matter how illiterate he is and his evil tandem should have heard this before.

It is also shown in the bible, which shows a similar idea, namely Proverbs 17:28. Here is the New International Version of this verse: "Even a fool is thought wise if he keeps silent, and discerning if he holds his tongue."

Every time Latimore writes, it is only foul words that drop out of his bitter heart removing every doubt; this man is really a frustrated and relevance seeking. Desperate for rehabilitation after squandering every opportunity to be a successful man in the past, he has taking on the spreading of falsehood and raising unfounded alarms.

To sustain his access to Otega Emerho and the APC, he has to run his mouth by manufacturing every vain word to insult and try to rubbish every move of government. Why not wait for the Governor to announce the 2016 Budget before starting to run his brain. Is there any State or even the federal government that will not have a tight budget in 2016 with the dwindling revenue?

Fred Latimore Oghesivbe has no pedigree, analyzing a budget, especially one that has not been laid before the State House of Assembly. As cursed as he is, the money he is collecting cannot be put to proper use until he stops chasing shadows. I however, pity him and understand his plight. The world should pity a man who openly admitted that he and few other DISGRUNTLED people left PDP to join APC in the State. What he did not tell the world was, if his failure in life and poverty was/is caused by Governor Okowa.

Probably if Emerho is not blinded by the desperate pursuit for power, he would ordinarily not allow a desperado and frustrated fellow like Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe to come near him.

It is easy to see what gives Latimore the false sense of heroism that makes him think, insulting people who are far ahead in life from him and whose social and political status he may never reach makes him great. It’s the private kingdom of a facebook page which he updates thrash every day with a few acolytes cheering him on. That's the only claim to achievement that swells Latimore's head.

What a shame that, a man who should leave better lessons on decorum, social responsibility, maturity and honour for his children to live and point to as their father’s legacy has failed and only has the amount of insults he can cast on the government of his State as his stand out performance.

For all his foolishness and trouble, Latimore should dare and try his popularity by running for election and then check out how low down the pecking order, people regard him.

We know he is hungry. A hungry man is an angry man. He is a parasite who has luckily found a carcass to feed on. Continue! Soon, that evil tandem with Emerho will burst. Our fathers say, that a child who is carried on the back by the mother does not know that the distance is far. Latimore is living off easy money from Otega Emerho, as one who is unemployed and doesn't know how to work for a living, relying on Emerho will only last for a while. Meanwhile, let him continue to pose in his fool’s paradise.

OBOREVWORI: How Not To Glorify A 'One Chance' Governor - By Zik Gbemre

It is appalling how, in desperation to sustain its thieving hegemony over the Delta State Government since 1999, the Delta PDP had the audacity to impose the weakest, most uninformed contender, a local champion, as Governor over a state replete with accomplished men and women of immense capacity. Given this unenviable privilege, one would have expected the fortunate placeholder governor, Sheriff Oborevwori—whose only election campaign manifesto was pledging to improve on the failed leadership of Ifeanyi Okowa, his predecessor—to engage creative minds and individuals of proven integrity to assist him in making a difference. Rather than doing the needful, Oborevwori has worsened matters by electing to engage the same spent leaders, deadwood, and gluttons that have gained prominence in running the state down over successive administrations. The result has been a government of mediocre officeholders competing to run the state for their pockets at the detriment of the populace, under a gove...
