THE IMPOSSIBLE TASK BEFORE DELTA APC

The people of Delta State had since chosen their path of leadership on the 20th of March and 11th of April, 2015 as they respectively voted for their National Assembly and State Assembly members and their Governor. The will of God via the people had been done and seen to be done.

On a positive note too, the judiciary has stood its grounds and has not allowed anyone to manipulate it at will and by implication has not disfranchised the people. That in itself is a big plus.

The judiciary confirmations of all the Senators, House of Representatives and State House of Assembly members is a clear sign that elections in Delta State were free and fair.

Though there is still the tiny matter of the Election Appeal arising from the Governorship election tribunal before the Court of Appeal in Benin, there is no single course for alarm. Governor Ifeanyi Okowa is ordained by God.

Delta people Worldwide have voluntarily voiced their continued support for Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.

They say: - Governor Ifeanyi Okowa remains the right choice for the State. It is the turn of Delta North Senatorial district to rule Delta State being that Central and South had taken their turns.

Governor Okowa is working; God qualified Him the right Governor for Delta State, the Superior Performer, Mr. Integrity, Mr. Transparency, Mr. Accountability, God's Own Servant and The people's Governor. Thank you God for Giving Us Governor Ifeanyi Okowa! Governor Okowa Must Stay.

So, the Delta State All Progressive Congress have an uphill task of trying to win any election in Delta State from the back door. It is an elusive mission.
No one is greater than God.

OBOREVWORI: How Not To Glorify A 'One Chance' Governor - By Zik Gbemre

It is appalling how, in desperation to sustain its thieving hegemony over the Delta State Government since 1999, the Delta PDP had the audacity to impose the weakest, most uninformed contender, a local champion, as Governor over a state replete with accomplished men and women of immense capacity. Given this unenviable privilege, one would have expected the fortunate placeholder governor, Sheriff Oborevwori—whose only election campaign manifesto was pledging to improve on the failed leadership of Ifeanyi Okowa, his predecessor—to engage creative minds and individuals of proven integrity to assist him in making a difference. Rather than doing the needful, Oborevwori has worsened matters by electing to engage the same spent leaders, deadwood, and gluttons that have gained prominence in running the state down over successive administrations. The result has been a government of mediocre officeholders competing to run the state for their pockets at the detriment of the populace, under a gove...
