GOVERNOR OKOWA GRACES ARMED FORCES REMEMBRANCE INTER-DENOMINATIONAL CHURCH SERVICE

The Armed Forces Remembrance Day activities entered the fourth day Sunday with inter-denominational Church Service and Thanksgiving for 2016 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Celebration at Redeemed Christian Church of God, Delta Province 3, Junior Staff Qtrs, Road, Asaba, Delta State.

The programme started last Thursday, January 7, 2016 with the launching of the 2016 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Emblems. Governor Okowa used the occasion of the Church Service to stress national peace and unity, while and assuring, Moslems and Christians alike who live and do business in the State peaceful co-existence.

The remembrance programme will peak on Friday, January 15, 2016 with the ceremonial laying of Wreath at the Cenotaph Asaba.

It is appalling how, in desperation to sustain its thieving hegemony over the Delta State Government since 1999, the Delta PDP had the audacity to impose the weakest, most uninformed contender, a local champion, as Governor over a state replete with accomplished men and women of immense capacity.
