UPDATE: About 6:00am on Friday, February 19, sheriffs from the Lagos High court and FSARS stormed the Okoye’s residence in Omole with a court order to size the property due to the ongoing allegations against them but as the gateman refused them entry, they forced their way in injuring one of the security guards.

Speaking with eye witnesses at Psquare’s Omole residence Naij.com, gathered that the Okoye brothers Paul, Peter and Jude Okoye were paid over N8m in January, to perform at a show but the music duo failed to turn up. In the midst of all these, Naij.com saw Paul driving out of their Squareville home and returned to house around 11:10am.

Another source revealed that, about 8 to 9 years ago the Psquare brothers were paid about N1m for a show in Benin. Psquare arrived the venue on the agreed date for the show but unfortunately the show was postponed to the next day and they refused to stay as they returned to Lagos. The organizer of the show demanded for his money but they are yet to refund the money and the case as ever since been taken to court.

However, it was allegedly reported that Squareville located in Omole Phase 1, Ojodu Berger, is no longer owned by Psquare but Paul and Jude, thereby kicking their brother Peter Okoye out of the house.
About the court sealing the house, as at the time Naij.com left the premises of the incident the Squareville is yet to be sealed as instructed by the court.

OBOREVWORI: How Not To Glorify A 'One Chance' Governor - By Zik Gbemre

It is appalling how, in desperation to sustain its thieving hegemony over the Delta State Government since 1999, the Delta PDP had the audacity to impose the weakest, most uninformed contender, a local champion, as Governor over a state replete with accomplished men and women of immense capacity. Given this unenviable privilege, one would have expected the fortunate placeholder governor, Sheriff Oborevwori—whose only election campaign manifesto was pledging to improve on the failed leadership of Ifeanyi Okowa, his predecessor—to engage creative minds and individuals of proven integrity to assist him in making a difference. Rather than doing the needful, Oborevwori has worsened matters by electing to engage the same spent leaders, deadwood, and gluttons that have gained prominence in running the state down over successive administrations. The result has been a government of mediocre officeholders competing to run the state for their pockets at the detriment of the populace, under a gove...
