DELTA PDP CHAIRMANSHIP: THE CASE FOR BARRISTER KINGSLEY ESISO

Barrister Kingsley Esiso is the current Special Adviser to the Governor of Delta State on Library Matters. When he was appointed Adviser, he was generally accepted as coming from Ethiope East local government area. But as is usual in politics when you are rising, political enemies will always come up with pull him down stories aimed to discredit.

For the avoidance of doubt, Barrister Kingsley Esiso is an indigene of Okpara Inland in Ethiope East local government area of Delta State. This is verifiable. When his father died he was buried at Okpara Inland. That was about 15 years ago.
Barrister Kingsley Esiso is also a duly registered member of PDP. He is a card carrying member of PDP, Ward 2 in Sapele Local Government Area. Esiso has diligently served the party.
Barrister Esiso was given the title of the Oruese (A Generous Giver) of Agbon Kingdom while the wife, Mrs. Esiso was conferred the Ughana (Eye Glass) of Agbon Kingdom by His Royal Majesty, Ukori 1st (JP), the Ovie of Agbon Kingdom.
Barrister Kingsley Esiso is a man with personal integrity, perceived ability to lead, listen and change/grow. In fact, a man with vision. That is the kind of man needed today as chairman of PDP in Delta State. The PDP and Nigerian Constitutions guarantee him the right to aspire to that position.

OBOREVWORI: How Not To Glorify A 'One Chance' Governor - By Zik Gbemre

It is appalling how, in desperation to sustain its thieving hegemony over the Delta State Government since 1999, the Delta PDP had the audacity to impose the weakest, most uninformed contender, a local champion, as Governor over a state replete with accomplished men and women of immense capacity. Given this unenviable privilege, one would have expected the fortunate placeholder governor, Sheriff Oborevwori—whose only election campaign manifesto was pledging to improve on the failed leadership of Ifeanyi Okowa, his predecessor—to engage creative minds and individuals of proven integrity to assist him in making a difference. Rather than doing the needful, Oborevwori has worsened matters by electing to engage the same spent leaders, deadwood, and gluttons that have gained prominence in running the state down over successive administrations. The result has been a government of mediocre officeholders competing to run the state for their pockets at the detriment of the populace, under a gove...
