The First class Monarch, gave the commendation in his palace in Warri, averred that the remarkable achievements so far made by the Okowa led administration within one year in spite of the current economic recession, was very laudable.
The Monarch stated that he want a peaceful and prosperous Warri Kingdom as well as hard working people. "I want my people to promote peace and unity amongst themselves and their neighbor's"
The Olu of Warri, further stated that the emergence of Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa as governor of Delta State is a blessing to the State.
He described Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as a friend, brother, a God fearing man, listening governor, a kind hearted and God sent. The Royal father contented that so far, the Governor has done marvelously well in the last one year, saying that his prosperity for all Deltans mantra as encapsulated in the SMART agenda was on course.
He called on Deltans to redouble their support for the Governor, maintaining that his score card in the last one year is an eloquent testimony and clear manifestation of his capability, ability and irrevocable commitment in taking the state to greater height.
The Monarch advise our amiable Governor to be weary of sycophants and friends who might want to feed him with wrong information.

Ahead of the September 21 governorship election in Edo State, the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) unveiled a 197-member council on Wednesday to lead its campaign.
