NO PART OF DELTA STATE 'LL BE DENIED DEVELOPMENT —OTUARO

The Acting Governor of Delta State, Barrister Kingsley Otuaro has said that no part of the State will be denied infrastructural development. 
Barrister Otuaro stated this yesterday at Delta south PDP Stakeholders Meeting held at Oleh, Isoko South Council.
He commended the people of Delta south senatorial district for their massive support at the 2015 General Elections for the PDP, trust in the Okowa administration and assured them that the present economic recession will not derail the prosperity for all Deltans.
The acting governor advised those aggrieved over the outcome of the congresses to sink their differences and join hands in building the Party.
He affirmed that Delta State is a stronghold of PDP, emphasising that there is no opposition in Delta State.
The Delta South Senatorial district Chairman of the PDP, Prince Emmanuel Agbamduba said the meeting was to rub minds together on the challenges bedevilling the party and the ways to move forward.
Prince Agbamduba advised members undergoing litigation in court over the congresses to withdraw it or face disciplinary action.
He said the party has repositioned to give all a level playing ground and urged members to avoid acts capable of bringing division into the Party.
Highlight of the meeting was a passage of vote of confidence on Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and his Deputy, Barrister Kingsley Otuaro for using the scarce resources accrued to the state to develop all parts of the State.

Abuja, Nigeria — The Federal Government of Nigeria has inaugurated a 12-member Presidential Advisory Committee on the Prerogative of Mercy (PACPM), tasked with recommending individuals eligible for presidential pardons from criminal convictions. The committee, chaired by the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi, was inaugurated on Wednesday. It has a four-year tenure and includes members drawn from various ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs), as well as representatives from religious bodies and four eminent Nigerians. GOVERNOR OBOREVWORI APPOINTS OSEJI AS DELTA HEAD OF SERVICE

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has approved the appointment of Dr. (Mrs.) Minimim Oseji as the new Head of Service. Her appointment follows the retirement of Mr. Reginald Bayoko, who served in the position for nearly nine years. Dr. Oseji, a medical doctor, was previously the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Environment and had also served as the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health. In 2020, she was elected as the 22nd National President of the Medical Women's Association of Nigeria (MWAN).
