The Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr.
Ifeanyi Okowa was today honoured with the 2016 Prestigious Order of the Pride
of Africa and the Mandela Medal for Long Walk to Freedom Awards.
The award was by the International Human
Rights Commission on behalf of the United Nations Human Rights Group for
International Cooperation and Partnership. The group is led by the African
Region Director, His Excellency, Ambassador Dr. Joseph Solace Rankin at Exco
Chambers, Government House, Asaba.
