The Developing-8 (D-8) Summit is scheduled to begin on Friday, October 20
President
Muhammadu Buhari traveled with his wife Aisha, and two of their children, Yusuf
and Halima, for the D-8 Summit in Turkey.
The
development was made public on Wednesday, October 18, by Femi Adesina, the
special adviser to the president on media and publicity
Adesina
posted a picture on his Facebook page, showing the first family on-board the
presidential jet, en-route to Turkey for the Summit.
The
D-8 Summit is scheduled to begin on Friday, October 20.

Muhammadu Buhari arrived in Turkey on Wednesday evening, October 18, to take
part in the Developing 8 (D-8) Summit, which is scheduled to begin on Friday,
October 20.
The
presidential aircraft reportedly touched down at the EsenboÄŸa International
Airport, in Ankara, the Turkish capital, at 6:20 pm local time.
Upon his arrival, President Buhari and his delegation were received by the Nigerian ambassador to Turkey, Iliyasu Paragalda, as well as the governor of Ankara.
