The Delta State Government through the office of the commissioner for Higher Education, Engr. Jude Sinebe, FNSE has urged the general public to disregard the speculated increment in the Delta State University Abraka Acceptance Fees.
Sinebe who made this known today at Asaba, noted that the welfare of students and indeed Deltans is paramount to the State government under Senator Ifeanyi Okowa and that the administration will never compromise on the quality of education in the State.
The commissioner emphasized that "the State government did not approve fees increment for Delta State University Abraka, despite the financial difficulties. Pointing out that the State government will not add to the burden of Deltans, we are focused and committed at creating a conducive learning environment for all and making education affordable to all Deltans.
The Delta State University Abraka and all State owned tertiary institutions management are advised to maintain the approved fees inclusive of acceptance fees for 2016/17 for use in 2017/18 academic session." he said.
