FG AGREES TO PAY N88BILLION TO CIVIL WAR VICTIMS: Another Example of APC Corruption and Nepotism

Under an APC administration that is based on favouritism and nepotism, our people must learn to read in-between the lines. The suit for compensation of Biafra  war victims was instituted by Deminers Concept Nigeria Limited, owned by Bala Yakubu, a retired Military officer with over 30 years of military combat experience.
The primary purpose of the suit is commercial; to get FG's patronage on demining the region of unexploded ordinances.
While 50 billion naira compensation will go to 493 identified victims of these unexploded ordinances, the rest 33 billion Naira will go to the company, Deminers Concept Nigeria Limited owned by Bala Yakubu who served directly under Buhari during the encounter with the Chadian rebels in 1983.
Just in case you are wondering why FG jumped at paying the judgement debt, this is it.
BTW,  it has nothing to do with Biafra war victims.

IBORI PARDON IN SIGHT? FG Inaugurates Presidential Committee On Prerogative of Mercy

Abuja, Nigeria — The Federal Government of Nigeria has inaugurated a 12-member Presidential Advisory Committee on the Prerogative of Mercy (PACPM), tasked with recommending individuals eligible for presidential pardons from criminal convictions. GOVERNOR OBOREVWORI APPOINTS OSEJI AS DELTA HEAD OF SERVICE

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has approved the appointment of Dr. (Mrs.) Minimim Oseji as the new Head of Service. Her appointment follows the retirement of Mr. Reginald Bayoko, who served in the position for nearly nine years.
