No fewer than seven (7) Ministers of President Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet, have already written their resignation letters, waiting for the right time to tender them to the Presidency, Post-Nigeria has reported.
A highly placed source said that most of the Ministers are not happy with President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election bid, but are afraid of saying it, in order not to lose their jobs.
The source added that apart from the Communication Minister, Adebayo Shittu, and few others, most of the Ministers have been silent on Buhari’s second term agenda.
“Seven Ministers have already written their resignation letters, which are yet to be submitted. Those seven Ministers have secretly paid loyalty to former President, Olusegun Obasanjo’s Coalition Movement.
“Believe me, there is going to be a tsunami, as most Ministers are no longer comfortable working with President Buhari, especially moving on to 2019.
“Why is it that Ministers have not unanimously endorsed Buhari, apart from the APC Governors?” the source queried.
He added that Buhari will soon receive the greatest shock of his life, immediately he openly declares to run for the 2019 Presidency.
It was further learnt that the seven Ministers are said to have signed on to Obasanjo’s elaborate plan for a mass movement away from the APC and PDP.
All efforts to get the names of the seven Ministers proved abortive, as the source declined to name them at this time.
When contacted another source close to the Presidency, he dismissed the report as a mere propaganda, aimed at causing disaffection in Buhari’s cabinet.
“The Ministers are solidly behind Buhari. No one has written any resignation letter”, the Presidential source stated firmly.

OBOREVWORI: How Not To Glorify A 'One Chance' Governor - By Zik Gbemre

It is appalling how, in desperation to sustain its thieving hegemony over the Delta State Government since 1999, the Delta PDP had the audacity to impose the weakest, most uninformed contender, a local champion, as Governor over a state replete with accomplished men and women of immense capacity. Given this unenviable privilege, one would have expected the fortunate placeholder governor, Sheriff Oborevwori—whose only election campaign manifesto was pledging to improve on the failed leadership of Ifeanyi Okowa, his predecessor—to engage creative minds and individuals of proven integrity to assist him in making a difference. Rather than doing the needful, Oborevwori has worsened matters by electing to engage the same spent leaders, deadwood, and gluttons that have gained prominence in running the state down over successive administrations. The result has been a government of mediocre officeholders competing to run the state for their pockets at the detriment of the populace, under a gove...
