THE UNTOUCHABLE GRASSCUTTER: EX-SGF, BABACHIR LAWAL, NOW ‘LIVES AND SLEEPS’ IN ASO ROCK, After Release By EFCC

An exclusive report by Post-Nigeria indicates that the former Secretary-General of the Federation, SGF, Babachir Lawal, now frequents Aso Rock daily.
It was learnt that his frequent visits came after he was granted bail by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, having been allegedly arrested.
Recall, that Babachir was removed from office by President Muhammadu Buhari, in 2017, and was subsequently arrested and detained by the EFCC, over fraud allegations relating to grasscutting contracts.
EFCC sources confirmed that he has since been allowed to go home on administrative bail.
Post-Nigeria’s Correspondent learnt that after Babachir was granted administrative bail, he has been frequenting the Presidential Villa on a daily basis allegedly.
There are insinuations that Babachir has been in touch with the cabals in Aso Rock, who have vowed to protect him from being prosecuted.
Although, many Political Analysts have described the arrest of Babachir by the EFCC, as a hoax and a ploy to hoodwink the gullible public who believe that Buhari’s anti-corruption is selective.
