NIGERIA’S GOVERNMENTS OVER THE YEARS ARE THE TYPE YOU CAN CALL “REACTIVE” ADMINISTRATORS…Rather Than “Proactive” Leaders.

They don’t plan on how to avoid disasters, they do not even plan on how to rescue or how to put out a burning building or how to storm a den to rescue the kidnapped, like the typical national behaviour they just pray that hell shouldn’t break loose.

The Nigerian administrators are all products of defective assembly lines strewn across the mighty jungles, the savannah, the plateau and the sahara of Nigeria.

Nothing should be surprising at least about all of these disasters in Nigeria. Are the rulers not members of our extended families, neighbours and all, or are these incompetent political class some aliens from space?

All these badnessssss starts from Nigerians chronic bad habits, small badness becomes big, I mean humongous problems for the nation at the nation’s future expense.

German trains hardly come late to stations, but most Nigerians are proudly owners of lateness to all events including their funerals.

Imagine individuals who steal the money meant to develop their own surroundings and   communities. What about not painting or maintaining their private houses on sprawling streets; houses which they mostly hold up with patches of cements, and pieces of roofing slates or corroded tin-roofing to stop leaks here or there.

Yes, patching up leaks here or there........That’s the same attitude Nigerians have toward governance......to patch, mend and repair as noticeable cracks and leaks become glaringly embarrassing and possibly destructive.

Nigeria and its leaders are patching up the disasters caused by terrorism, not learning as they experienced more disasters, just patch up leakages and deny how many deaths that occurred. That’s Naija leadership!

Buhari is not an exemption to this malady in government, in fact, his ineptitude is as inexcusable as that of OBJ.

I am NOT a fan of GEJ or Yar Adua, however, I can overlook some of their actions or inactions and chuck them under “inexperience”.

I really find Buhari’s incompetence, maladministration, favouring Fulani over others, turning blind eye to corruption within his chosen cabal, his nepotistic tendencies in filling his cabinet with idiots and thieves, all of these are unforgivable and inexcusable in a man his educated Yoruba supporters touted as the second coming of Jesus Christ.

Buhari was in government twice before as head of State and head of Petroleum Trust Fund -or-whatever crazy name they gave their corrupt department. Point is, like OBJ who was another screwball and who screwed up more than getting things done, Buhari has been there and done that.

Here we are again singing the same old sad songs with our night virgil candles well lit, and here we stand again in darkness as the flickering lights cast more shadows than illumination.

As always and on queue, we’re again ready to pray for the health of a nation that had gotten its God’s blessings stripped away layers by layers due to the fools that fought to be kings, but got into AsoRock and became clowns.

We are again looking into the cloudy skies, as we await the second, pardon me my peoples, I mean we await the fifth coming of the Mahatma in Buhari!
