The Governor Of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa today bagged a meritorious award from the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) for his outstanding contribution to the administration of criminal justice reform.
The Governor was who ably represented by Rt. Hon. Barrister Festus Ovie Agas, Secretary to the government of Delta State expressed his gratitude for being found fit and proper for the award.
The Governor commended the Nigeria Bar Association for its commitment to make the criminal justice system more human and effective.
He also reassured the NBA that Delta State Government will continue to partner with them in their commitment to strengthening the criminal justice system and on other worthy program of the body.
