STRIKE BY HEALTH WORKERS: Nigerian Senate President, Chairman Of Senate Committee On Primary Healthcare, Meet With Minister of Health, Prof. Adewole and Labour Minister, Ngige

The President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki has met with the Minister of Labour and Productivity, Dr. Chris Ngige over the lingering strike by the Joint Health Sector workers [JOHESU].
Senator Saraki had met with the leadership of JOHESU yesterday to hear their side of the story.
Today, the Senate President and the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Primary Healthcare, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa, met with the Minister of Health, Prof. Adewole and the Labour Minister, Senator Ngige at the office of the Senate President.
Speaking about the strike by JOHESU earlier, the Senate President said “It’s not in the interest of the country to have our hospitals closed.”
