APC NATIONAL CHAIRMAN: Adams Oshomole And The Enthronement Gangsterism

To supporters and most members of APC Adams Oshomole is the right man to dislodge PDP but in truth, he is just a rabble-rouser and another opportunist. He used labour activism to railroad himself into the dominant class in Nigeria and has continued on that path.
As the governor of Edo State, Oshomole never showed through his policies and programmes any pro-labour or pro-people bent. His confrontation with a roadside plantain roaster exposed his bourgeois tendencies. The waste of a country home in his village further showed his skewed taste.
But most distasteful is his attitudinal behaviour , which is like that of a tout. His speeches and responses to issues are so commonplace, devoid of finesse. In any democracy a former governor should be more cultured, especially when making public utterances.
With his kind of background it is clear that he made it to where he is through gangsterism.  No element of thorough educational brush up. Education is not all about marks degrees or certificate it is about building people's character.
The difference between an educated and ill-educated person is their thought process, mentality and their behavior. An educated person will think through the argument of their debate opponent and then reply with factual evidence.
An ill-educated person will answer with yelling and possibly slurs if the opponent said something controversial, and if not the person might use completely unsourced claims about things they have no knowledge of. And that is Adams Oshomole. He is not broad minded nor down to earth, speaks like a marketplace individual.

OBOREVWORI: How Not To Glorify A 'One Chance' Governor - By Zik Gbemre

It is appalling how, in desperation to sustain its thieving hegemony over the Delta State Government since 1999, the Delta PDP had the audacity to impose the weakest, most uninformed contender, a local champion, as Governor over a state replete with accomplished men and women of immense capacity. Given this unenviable privilege, one would have expected the fortunate placeholder governor, Sheriff Oborevwori—whose only election campaign manifesto was pledging to improve on the failed leadership of Ifeanyi Okowa, his predecessor—to engage creative minds and individuals of proven integrity to assist him in making a difference. Rather than doing the needful, Oborevwori has worsened matters by electing to engage the same spent leaders, deadwood, and gluttons that have gained prominence in running the state down over successive administrations. The result has been a government of mediocre officeholders competing to run the state for their pockets at the detriment of the populace, under a gove...
