The CAF president, Ahmad, along with his immediate predecessor in office, Issa Hayatou, are expected special guests who have been confirmed for the African Athletics Championships holding in Asaba, South-South Nigeria.
According to the organizers of the athletics event, both are special guests of the championships holding from August 1 to 5 at the Stephen Keshi Stadium.
Hayatou will be coming with his wife as the football chiefs will be in town as Confederation of African Athletics (CAA) guests. All are expected in Nigeria today.
