ELECTION 2019: APC Is Warehouse Of Thieves – Sule Lamido

Lamido
Sule Lamido, a presidential candidate in the platform of People Democratic Party (PDP), on Thursday, described the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), as a warehouse of thieves.
The former Jigawa State governor stated this while speaking with Nasarawa State Working Committee of the party and delegates at the PDP Secretariat in Lafia the state capital.
He said if you are a thief in any political party and if you run to APC the party would receive you and accommodate you and the president Buhari would not send EFCC after you again.
Former Governor of Jigawa State said President Muhammadu Buhari is an incompetent leader, adding that Buhari’s led government is leading the country to destruction if allowed him to continue in the next four years.
According to Lamido, “Most of the APC members were one time in PDP and they have attained greater positions, but when they were threatened by the present government for misappropriations and other related issues, they decamped to the ruling party and now address as saints.
“APC said for 16 years of PDP under Good luck Jonathan there was only corrupting, stealing and killing but today it’s worse in APC. PDP is more united now than APC. Therefore, you can see that APC is a virus of evil.
“APC  blackmail us, they demonize us, using religion against us and today  APC has turned liars as part of their governance and achievement, it is a government where there is no focus, it is a government you do not know who is in charge, whether  President Buhari or the chief of staff,” he said.
He, however, affirmed that PDP is the only political party with a long historical background of building the nation as one indivisible entity despite their diversities.
Responding Francis Orogu, Nasarawa State PDP Chairman, appreciated the visitor for his bold step to speak the truth on what is happening in Nigeria, adding that the country needs somebody like him to correct the mistakes.

OBOREVWORI: How Not To Glorify A 'One Chance' Governor - By Zik Gbemre

It is appalling how, in desperation to sustain its thieving hegemony over the Delta State Government since 1999, the Delta PDP had the audacity to impose the weakest, most uninformed contender, a local champion, as Governor over a state replete with accomplished men and women of immense capacity. Given this unenviable privilege, one would have expected the fortunate placeholder governor, Sheriff Oborevwori—whose only election campaign manifesto was pledging to improve on the failed leadership of Ifeanyi Okowa, his predecessor—to engage creative minds and individuals of proven integrity to assist him in making a difference. Rather than doing the needful, Oborevwori has worsened matters by electing to engage the same spent leaders, deadwood, and gluttons that have gained prominence in running the state down over successive administrations. The result has been a government of mediocre officeholders competing to run the state for their pockets at the detriment of the populace, under a gove...
