OSHOMOLE AND APC MOVING NIGERIA TOWARDS THE END OF DEMOCRACY: One Party State

Image may contain: 4 people, people smiling, people standing
Statements and body language of the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) indicate clearly that the country is in for an authoritarian dictatorship.
Hence it obligatory to call on well-meaning Nigerians and the International Community to take judicial notice that the APC led government was ruling the country without following democratic norms.
Nigeria is on the verge of becoming a one-party State as the ruling party is hell-bent on putting a final nail on the coffin of multiparty democracy.
The alarm should be raised by all rational citizens that the country is heading towards a one-party State. But most intriguing is the fact that the process is being led by those who once fought for multiparty democracy: Bola Tinubu and Adams Oshomole, not out of public interest but for interest to maintain their power and privileges.
Nigerians should take seriously the antics of ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to turn the country into a one-party State. The possibility of Nigeria becoming a one-party state is imminent.
Impunity was gaining traction in the APC with disobedience to court orders and every attempt to use subtle coercion force opposition members to cross over. The federal government confers legitimacy on corrupt elements through its selective anti-corruption crusade.
If you look at the performance of this government, you will notice that the accusing finger that is pointed at PDP before the 2015 election is exactly what is in vogue now… immigration, customs, armed forces, the police etc, are still as corrupt as ever under this government; contractors are still being hawked like sachet water in Abuja and impunity is festering by the day as it did with earlier governments.
APC is a party of deceit that lacks conscience and a government of vengeance and compensation in place. Since the coming into power of this government, there has been increased in impunity, corruption legalised for a group of people, selective anti-corruption war, economic recession, increase in arm banditry, kidnapping becoming a thriving business, our health care system in the worst stage.
APC is more deadly than PDP. Look at what happened in Edo governorship election; look at the scenario that played itself out at the Ondo governorship election. Look at the way Ekiti election was conducted.
It is important to appeal to the citizens to liberate the country from the crutches of internal colonialism and local imperialism.
