THE SECOND COMING OF PRESIDENT BUHARI IS TO COMPLETE HIS UNFINISHED EVIL BUSINESS…Offensive Advise For My Brother Great Ovedje Ogboru - By Hon Chief Friday Akpoyibo

I was happy that president Buhari was voted into office in 2015 alongside some governors.
When he was campaigning in 2015 he was shedding tears that he has a lot of things to offer Nigerians if voted into office.
But today I am the happiest man on earth because president Buhari has proved to Nigerians beyond reasonable doubt that all the evils he couldn't accomplish while he was the Head of State were the reason that made him shed deceitful tears.
Most Nigerians and my honourable self would have regretted greatly if he was not voted into power in 2015 thinking that he was real with all juicy promises.
Among his promises are,  fuel that was sold for #87 per litre in 2015 and he promised to reduce it to #45 per litre if voted into office, but today fuel is #145 per litre. What a shame.
A bag of Rice that was sold #8000 per bag and he promised that if voted into office a bag of rice will be sold #3000, but today rice is 18000 per bag and above.

He promised to protect lives and property, but today Christian all over the country and innocent farmers are been killed on daily basis by his brothers without doing anything.
Even the Economy of the country that was once the best and the fastest growing economy in Africa is dead and plunge into recession.
The corruption that he promised to fight was only a lip service, right now he has fortified himself and surround himself with corrupt persons and impunity is the order of the day.
Freedom of speech, freedom of association and rule of law seem to him as a mere dream.
I thought by now Nigerians should have learnt their lesson especially our brothers and sisters from the south south, south east, south west and the middle belt but it is so appalling that even those that called themselves Christians are clapping their hands and clamouring to vote Buhari again in 2019, spreading his billboard and posters every nook and cranny of the country. Could it be that they are ignorant of what is happening or they are just deceiving Mr. President?
My advice to my dear brother, great Ovedje Ogboru who personally I love so much but I must tell him the bitter truth.
The offensive truth is that you should know that you cannot be a governor of Delta State in 2019. There are bad elements that are pushing you to contest. These people and your cohorts know what they doing and they are well Armed with all the facts but they are only deceiving you because they have a lot to gain at your expense.
A lot of them are only trying to ride on your back to achieve their selfish and political goals which is their sole aim of massaging your Ego.
Since you came into Delta State politics, you are always in opposition fighting PDP and that has made you a perpetual failure.
Now it is very certain that you will also fail again come 2019 and there is no doubt about that.
The question is, Must you always contest as an opposition in an opposition party?
For crying out loud, Delta State is a PDP State. Therefore be patient and come to PDP and contest in 2023 then all the Urhobos will send you to government house ASABA, if not you will wait till eternity.
And again, have this in mind that you are contesting against a working and one of the best governors in the history of Delta State.
Patience they say is a virtue, Ogboru you need to have patience for your time to come because right now voting for you against OKOWA is like trading a diamond for a stone especially now that you choose to come out under the umbrella of a wrong party that has brought so much suffering and agony on our people.

OBOREVWORI: How Not To Glorify A 'One Chance' Governor - By Zik Gbemre

It is appalling how, in desperation to sustain its thieving hegemony over the Delta State Government since 1999, the Delta PDP had the audacity to impose the weakest, most uninformed contender, a local champion, as Governor over a state replete with accomplished men and women of immense capacity. Given this unenviable privilege, one would have expected the fortunate placeholder governor, Sheriff Oborevwori—whose only election campaign manifesto was pledging to improve on the failed leadership of Ifeanyi Okowa, his predecessor—to engage creative minds and individuals of proven integrity to assist him in making a difference. Rather than doing the needful, Oborevwori has worsened matters by electing to engage the same spent leaders, deadwood, and gluttons that have gained prominence in running the state down over successive administrations. The result has been a government of mediocre officeholders competing to run the state for their pockets at the detriment of the populace, under a gove...

THE ENDURING LEGACY OF LEADERSHIP: Chief James Ibori Celebrated for His Impact on Delta State

On Friday, May 31st, during the funeral service for the Late Asagba of Asaba, the essence of true leadership was vividly displayed. The service featured the introduction of various dignitaries, including Senator George Akume, Secretary to the Government of the Federation who represented President Bola Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor Godwin Obaseki, and Former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa. As each dignitary was introduced, the church remained silent. However, the atmosphere dramatically changed when the name of Former Governor James Ibori was announced; the congregation erupted in wide jubilation and applause. This reaction was so profound that even Senator George Akume and Governor Obaseki could not hide their astonishment. The enthusiastic reception for Chief James Ibori during this solemn occasion highlighted his enduring legacy among the people of Delta State. Despite having left office seventeen years ago, he continues to be celebrated whenever he attends public functions i...
