As a sole aspirant for his Party's ticket, Mohammadu Buhari won. He became the flag bearer of the APC in a contest described by his wife, the First Lady, Aisha Buhari, as being full of "impunity."
Mr. Buhari gave a drab, dull, non-inspiring acceptance speech, read from a piece of paper given to him by his handlers. As he read the paper, it was evident that he did not understand many of the words, as he struggled to pronounce them. Buhari had no idea what he was reading.
Compare him with The Man Abubakar Atiku, who spoke off the cuff in a very simple, logical, coherent and substantive manner. He did not need any handler to write anything on a piece of paper before underscoring the relevant issues and the way forward.
It is evident that Atiku is ready for the Job. He is prepared. He is knowledgeable. He is well grounded.
Atiku is the man Nigeria needs. It is self-evident.
Between Atiku and Buhari, the difference is clear.
