Immediate past governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has just arrived the federal high court in Lagos state to begin his trial.
As earlier reported, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has already transferred the former governor to Lagos state where he is to be arraigned in court over charges bordering on money laundering and looting of public funds.
The anti-graft agency has slammed an 11 count charge lined up 22 witnesses to testify against Fayose during the trial.
Already, the charges are been read before Justice Mojisola Olatoregun.
Information reveals that the court premises is already under heavy security lockdown.
