CHIEF GEORGE OYEFIA DUMPS APC FOR PDP

The main opposition party in Delta State, the All Progressives Congress APC has yet lost another prominent member in the State, Hon Olorogun (Barr) G.E. Oyefia.

The two-time member of the State House of Assembly today dumped the APC for PDP at his Ikorobie unit Orogun ward 1 Ughelli North local government area. In his speech, Chief Oyefia informed the members of his unit that he is fully back to the party.

He described the APC as a confused group of people without focus. He urged all members of PDP in the ward to unite to work for the reelection of Senator Ifeanyi Okowa.

To get something from the government, we must produce a good result. He charged everyone to go on soul winning to bring back all those who left the party in the past. He promised to come officially with other decampees.

Chief George Emuakpor Oyefia was received by Com Alex Ovie Iduh, Innocent Iyede, the Chairman of Orogun ward one campaign committee among others.  Idu gave thanks to God for his return to the PDP fold.

Ahead of the September 21 governorship election in Edo State, the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) unveiled a 197-member council on Wednesday to lead its campaign.
