KARMA AWAITS THEM: Letter from Kayode Adebayo To Prof. Wole Soyinka

Dear Wole Soyinka:

The fools you are writing to who call themselves law makers in Nigeria are nothing but thieves, rogues, empty heads and dunces. I'm surprised and very disappointed to say the least, that you addressed them as "My Dear Honorables". They are better addressed as 'Dear Assembly of Thieves, Rogues and Looters of Nigeria's Economy'. They are animals. They lack human feelings.

They have no idea what you are talking about. They don't even know what they are elected to do. They have no clue what they are doing or why they are where they are. They lack any gumption. They have the mental capacity of a primary one pupil. They don't know what is called Law and have no idea how to make one. They just go to the assembly to mark their presence and pretend they are working, in order to collect their unjustified salaries and allowances at the end of the month.

They are bunch of thieves and morons who need to be rounded up, put in Black Maria trucks and ferried to Kirikiki to start serving life imprisonment, pending their trials in the court of law.

It's unfortunate that you took some time off your schedule to write the fools. They are dummies. They have no idea what 'Judicial Mitigation' (Lessening of Legal Consequences of a Crime) or 'Crime Passionnel' (Crime of Passion) is in Law. It's like talking to the air.

Buhari has sent a number of bills they passed back to them to redo, because they contain a lot of legal mistakes and grammatical errors, which could have caused serious problems in the courts of law, and result in conflicts with some existing laws and the Constitution. I saw some of the bills myself and I was appalled. They eventually publicly acknowledged them for the first time just a month ago. And just a couple of weeks ago, they were trying to pass a law without reading the bill, a procedure that is required in law making. Of course, they had no clue what was inside the bill they were trying to pass.

A lot of them call themselves Lawyers, but have no idea what Legal Research is. A requirement in Law Making. They are mere lawyers on paper. They are a product of Nigeria's bad education system that needs reform ASAP.

You wonder why they are trying to pass a Hate Crime bill. They want to use the bill as entrapment for whoever tries to criticize them  because they are power drunk. They are human scumbags. They are a disgrace and total embarrassment to Nigeria in particular and humanity in general.

Of course, the chicken will come home to roost, sooner or later. It's just a matter of time.

Karma awaits them.

Kayode

OBOREVWORI: How Not To Glorify A 'One Chance' Governor - By Zik Gbemre

It is appalling how, in desperation to sustain its thieving hegemony over the Delta State Government since 1999, the Delta PDP had the audacity to impose the weakest, most uninformed contender, a local champion, as Governor over a state replete with accomplished men and women of immense capacity. Given this unenviable privilege, one would have expected the fortunate placeholder governor, Sheriff Oborevwori—whose only election campaign manifesto was pledging to improve on the failed leadership of Ifeanyi Okowa, his predecessor—to engage creative minds and individuals of proven integrity to assist him in making a difference. Rather than doing the needful, Oborevwori has worsened matters by electing to engage the same spent leaders, deadwood, and gluttons that have gained prominence in running the state down over successive administrations. The result has been a government of mediocre officeholders competing to run the state for their pockets at the detriment of the populace, under a gove...

THE ENDURING LEGACY OF LEADERSHIP: Chief James Ibori Celebrated for His Impact on Delta State

On Friday, May 31st, during the funeral service for the Late Asagba of Asaba, the essence of true leadership was vividly displayed. The service featured the introduction of various dignitaries, including Senator George Akume, Secretary to the Government of the Federation who represented President Bola Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor Godwin Obaseki, and Former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa. As each dignitary was introduced, the church remained silent. However, the atmosphere dramatically changed when the name of Former Governor James Ibori was announced; the congregation erupted in wide jubilation and applause. This reaction was so profound that even Senator George Akume and Governor Obaseki could not hide their astonishment. The enthusiastic reception for Chief James Ibori during this solemn occasion highlighted his enduring legacy among the people of Delta State. Despite having left office seventeen years ago, he continues to be celebrated whenever he attends public functions i...
